Delicious - Shayla Black

Delicious (Wicked Lovers, #3)Delicious by Shayla Black

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A wonderful addition to the Wicked Lovers series - loved this book.

Delicious is about Luc and Alyssa - we met both in previous Wicked Lover's books so it is nice to see their story unfold knowing a little bit of history.

Luc has the "perfect" illusion of a wife and mother in his dreams, he has been dating the type of women he believes he wants - all the while dreaming and desiring Alyssa. Alyssa also has been thinking of Luc and wants him in her life. They shared a hot and steamy night several months ago that they both remember a little differently. Luc believes he was too rough and lost control and Alyssa just believes he is the man for her.

Alyssa recruits Luc to help her open her new restaurant (he made a promise all those months ago to help), however he is reluctant to be around her for any amount of time - because of his feelings. They both have several secrets that they are unwilling to share which makes for a rough romantic ride however when Alyssa had threats made against her life they find ways to work together and find out that not all is what is seems and that a few twists and turns make for a great romantic story.

Great story - can't wait for more!!!

Hummingbird Lake: An Eternity Springs Novel (Eternity Springs, #2)Hummingbird Lake: An Eternity Springs Novel by Emily March

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Hummingbird Lake is the second book in An Eternity Springs series. It is another great emotional romance that was hard to put down.

This book focuses on Sage and Colt both artistic soles who love the peace and healing of living in Eternity Springs.

Sage is haunted by a past she can not confront and does not want to let anyone - including Colt too close. And Colt is a determined man who thinks he has found his "forever" woman in Sage.

The story was so emotional and sweet. I loved both characters and hope to meet them again in upcoming novels.

A great read - not to be missed if you are a true romantic.

Angel's Rest (Eternity Springs, #1)Angel's Rest by Emily March

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Emily March has created a wonderful series and this first book is a great start. I loved this book and half way through while shopping at a store I picked up the next book in the series (Hummingbird Lake).

This book is the first book of An Eternity Springs Novel series which follows the residents of a small Colorado tourist town that seems to be dieing. We follow Nic who is the town Vet and who has lived there since she was 9 with her mom and aunt. She carries pain from being an illegitimate child whose father abandoned her and her mother and a women whose ex-husband cheated on her. She has a wonderful base of friends and enjoys her life although would someday like to find her true love. We are also introduced to Gabe a deeply scarred man (both inside and out) that is on the verge of self destruction. They find themselves running into each other as the town tries to re-invent itself to survive.

The story is an emotional ride that takes you from highs and lows,I laughed and cried through the pages. The characters in the town are to love and I am looking forward to meeting them again in the next two stories. The mysterious Celeste is a wonder and to see how she works her magic into the lives of the residents is fun.

Overall this was a great book that I had a hard time putting down - but of course I had to sleep and work.

Poltergeist (Greywalker, #2)Poltergeist by Kat Richardson

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Love this series!

This is the second book in the Greywalker series. It has been several months since I had read the first one and was easily sent back into the world of Harper Blaine. The story was rich in mystery, thrills and magic. I love the way the city of Seattle and Pioneer Square are so much a part of the story and the way Ms Richardson brings in the history surrounding the area. Even though I have never visited the area I feel that I have through her books. In this story we find Harper is hired to help a professor who is working on a project about spirits/poltergeists and the way a group can create or control one. The project gets out of hand when one of the assistants is killed and Harper gets involved in whether it was murder or not. She finds more answers about the Grey with the help of her friends Mara and Ben and also asks for help from her not so favorite vampire, Carlos.

Kat Richardson tells a wonderful tale rich with characters that I enjoy getting to know.

I am excited to continue the story of Harper.
